Beauticians have welcomed the news that they will be able to open at step 3 of the road map, after previously being excluded.

Allure Lux in Wangaratta confirmed they will be opening their doors, with owner Danni Chubb saying she cannot wait to welcome back customers after being forced to close the doors of her business for several weeks.

Pubs, restaurants, cafes and bars will be able to re-open from midnight tonight, following the announcement from the Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews.

You will no longer need a reason to leave home. Hospitality and tourism within the regions returns, and household bubbles of up to five people will be allowed.

Mask wearing and physical distancing rules will still apply.

The state government's outdoor eating and entertainment package offers up to $5,000 to help cafes adapt to predominantly outdoor dining.
