Methylamphetamine Charge For Corowa Woman

A woman has been charged following an investigation into the supply of methylamphetamine.

Investigators attached to the Murray River Police District Drug Unit established Strike Force Winnall in June 2019, targeting the supply of prohibited drugs in Corowa and surrounding areas. As a result of investigations, police executed a search warrant at a Corowa residence about 11.30am on Tuesday 13 August.

Officers located and seized drugs, scales, mobile phones, resealable plastic bags and other items indicative of drug supply.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Albury Police Station. She was charged with 27 offences relating to the supply of prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (methylamphetamine).

She was refused bail to appear before Albury Local Court
