All the weekend's action

Round five of Ovens and Murray and round six of Ovens and King brought some stellar football and netball action to the North East and border region this weekend.

Ovens and Murray Round Five Footy:

Yarrawonga upset Wang Rovers by 20 points;

Corowa-Rutherglen beat Lavington by 19;

Wodonga Raiders defeated Myrtleford by 10points;

Wodonga thrashed North Albury by 168;

And Albury remained unbeaten, with a two goal win over Wang Magpies at the Sportsground.

In the netball:

Corowa-Rutherglen beat Lavington 49 to 24;

Myrtleford with 48 defeated Wodonga Raiders 32;

Yarrawonga took out the Rovers 50 to 36;

North Albury just beat Wodonga, by one goal;

and Wang Magpies defeated Albury Tigers, 49 to 30.

Ovens and King Round Six Football:

Bonnie Doon with 112 won over North Wangaratta 41;

Bright were 22 point winners over Moyhu;

Goorambat 43 wasn't enough for Benalla All Blacks 91;

Greta's 140 was too good for King Valley 54;

and Milawa with 93 beat Whorouly with 40;

Tarrawingee had the bye.

And in the netball:

Goorambat couldn't quite get there against the Benalla All Blacks, losing 38 to 40;

Bright beat Moyhu 35 to 33;

Milawa with 52 defeated Whorouly on 40;

Bonnie Doon took out North Wangaratta, 49 to 35;

And Greta smashed King Valley United, 61 to 12.

The Latest
